The 'Cool-Summer' Resort for Active Adults

About Juniper Ridge RV Resort

Nestled among the Junipers in the White Mountains near Show Low, Arizona, a welcoming active adult community offers fun and friendship to its residents. Juniper Ridge RV Resort consists of 529 privately-owned lots. Whether occupied by a motor home, a fifth-wheel trailer, or a park model with an Arizona room, the RV Resort is home (for the summer or year-round) to about 800 residents.

Juniper Ridge Resort residents are VERY active adults – mostly 55 and better – who are living life to the fullest. The calendar of activities is packed full of parties, dances, games, and special events. The beautiful Grand Lodge is the venue for many of the events, and the adjoining Patio serves smaller parties. A large pool, a spa, fitness facilities, tennis and pickle ball courts, billiards and table tennis rooms, and much more help keep residents fit. The crafts building includes a ceramics room, a well-equipped quilting and sewing room, and other rooms for arts and crafts projects.

For golfers, whether advanced or beginners, there are a couple of options. The Juniper Ridge Golf Course was recently expanded from nine holes to 18 and is ideal for the beginner or casual golfer.  (Of course, many of the lots adjoin the greens.) A couple of miles down the road, residents may enjoy Silver Creek Golf Club, with its 18-hole, championship course.

Besides the fun and friendship offered at Juniper Ridge RV Resort, residents love it for the weather.  At about 6,100 feet, the resort is 20 to 25 degrees cooler than the Phoenix metropolitan area, but boasts the same blue skies. Even so, Phoenix is little more than three hours away. What more could you want?

History of Juniper Ridge RV Resort

In 2010, Juniper Ridge RV Resort will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Initially developed by the Baptist Foundation, it has thrived and grown through many changes. In 2003, the undeveloped land and declarant rights were acquired by Voyager at Juniper Ridge,LLC (managed by Voyager Land Company), making it a Voyager RV resort. In 2009, with the vast majority of its 529 lots in private hands, the home owners association was turned over to the private home owners, as the declarant relinquished its rights. With an active Board of Directors and a strong base of volunteers, we continue to make Juniper Ridge RV Resort better and better.
